Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all web design and development services provided by VENTAWAVE ("we", "us") to you, the client. By accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.

1. Scope of work

The work we'll deliver is as agreed in writing (by email, message or on your quote). Anything outside that agreed scope may be quoted separately.

2. Fees and payment

Packages start from £300. Package prices are £300 (Basic), £650 (Standard) and £950 (Premium), one-off, in GBP. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately. We build your free preview before any payment. After you sign the agreement you will be taken straight to secure Stripe checkout to pay. Stripe sends you a receipt and invoice by email once payment is made. Your site goes live once payment is received. Late payment of ongoing plan or hosting fees may result in the site being paused.

3. Changes after launch

You have a free change window of 14 days after launch. After that, changes are charged at £25 per hour, or are covered by our optional £20 per month all-inclusive plan (unlimited updates, hosting and domain included). There is no compulsory monthly fee.

4. Your content

You're responsible for supplying accurate text, images, logos and business information, and for making sure you have the rights to use them. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from content you supply.

5. Hosting and domains

On the pay-as-you-go option, domain and hosting cost £25 per year, or £12.50 per year for hosting only where you use your own domain. On the £20 per month plan, hosting and domain are included.

6. Delivery times

Delivery timeframes (typically 7 days, up to 10 for complex builds) are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on you providing content and feedback promptly.

7. Ownership and intellectual property

Once paid in full, you own the content you supplied and the finished design of your website. We retain ownership of any reusable code, tools and frameworks we use, and grant you a licence to use them as part of your site. We may show your site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. A small 'Made by Ventawave' credit stays in the footer of your website.

8. Payment and refunds

After you sign the agreement you will be taken straight to secure Stripe checkout to pay. Stripe sends you a receipt and invoice by email once payment is made. Payment is final. Once paid, payments are non-refundable. If something does not work as agreed, we will fix it free of charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Limitation of liability

We take care to build reliable websites, but we're not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit, business or data, or for outages caused by third-party services (for example hosting, payment or email providers). Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us for the relevant work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
